Here at DAD’s DESIGN STORY we document your JUGAAD, your creative efforts and showcase them to the world. So, if you are a junior thinker in school, an art practitioner, an idea generator, innovator, design aspirant, a design student, an entrepreneur with design background, a researcher at any level of any age or an explorer, we are here to communicate your struggle, experience and success to people.

We focus on the stories in making…..

History is made and it is not destined for sure and this can be understood by reaching out to the stories of curators. When life curates itself into a history we get several reactions; some watch and some act.  DAD is dedicated to act on the stories and bring them in front of the world.

The initiative itself is a page being curated into history.  Till date the potential of design has been mostly untapped. We as a design community are dedicated  to create a platform which works on a capacity building process and create a design led global economy. Our co-existence is to asses, showcase and set forth the awesome spark of awe inspiring innovation, creativity in every individual and co-create a change making scenario.

Our consistency for innovation, thinking  and their resounding global resonance is only maintained by the routes to bring the designers, researchers and thinkers community to a single platform for a free-flowing exchange of ideas and visions. Our PAN India presence brings the best and the brightest mind regardless of age, expertise, social strata to the golden screen they deserve.

We have envisioned the initiative as ‘DAD- Design Awareness Drive” under the aegis of “United Countryouths Foundation, Republic of India”. The DAD has initiated ‘THINK LABS’ based on the objectives of National design Policy, Govt. of India to promote Design at every level.  DAD Think Labs are envisioned to be constituted in schools, institutions and community centers across the nation with mission to introduce the ‘Basics of Design’ to foster innovation.

Our mission has been to tell design stories that matter, stories with heart, with drive, and that wouldn’t be possible without the passion of our team – they are the heart and soul of DAD Design Story. The drive to write, build, design, shoot, edit and publish these stories comes by getting inspired by you.

DAD is an organization that has maximum number of members from Design Research Society, London, UK. We have transformed the complete education into a fun based learning systems. The well researched, rehearsed and proven study materials have been an edge and an added value to our free online support systems.

Our very recent open source has helped not less than 10,000 students in just one month from across the nation to judge themselves before the nation entrance tests. These test series have always been a paid and very costly affair for aspirants. This means, where a woman is respected, the place becomes God’s abode, by God’s abode, we mean, divine qualities, good deeds, peace, and harmony. However, if this is not done, then all the actions turn out to be fruitless.

Woman is the designer and curator of the success story of every man. “Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity…If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man’s superior…If non-violence is the law of our being, the future is with women…” –Mahatma Gandhi

Achievement of a man is in the hands of the women associated with his life. Women is metaphorically the Mother Nature. We learn from her unconsciously with a formal or informal systems hence serving  as the first teacher of the child. It is the behavioural knowledge and creativity that she imbibes bit by bit second by second, by her creative ways of thinking and providing nurturance and individualistic care systems for our growth. The same instincts that our personality inculcates, designs the real we.

Women play a vital role in designing our lives creating easier to walk up the rungs of the success ladder. Women design a man’s life and turn him into successful intellect. Woman minds has been built in a way that it generates a strong connect of cognitive science, design and human beings and it would not be wrong to say that without women whole human species would cease to exist.

“Behind every successful man there is a woman”, Successful man does not mean CEO’s of multimillion organization or those gentlemen who are minting money, or sitting at extraordinary posts. Successful means any average gentleman who is working hard, earning his living, providing well for his family, doing justice to his work, whose heart and mind are at peace both at work and at home. Not only in the case of a man but this saying stands for the design functioning of the whole world. She designs strength and support behind the success of an individual.

‘ International Women’s Day’ is all about feeling women realize their worth and giving them boost to achieve as per their actual potential. On this day the world unites to appreciate their courage to cross all the hurdles and make such tremendous improvement in all most all the spheres of life. Besides that, important thing to be emphasised is the work that still needs to be done to fill that gap completely that had existed from ages. Let us cherish the glory of women on this day.

In the times when the world has been transformed by the #power_of_design, we bring to you the discussion where food meets design. The food designers all around the globe try to impress diner with new visuals, textures, colors, aroma, shapes , architecture, balance anything else they can think of. Innovation in food presentation lies when design creates uniqueness, beauty and surprise. Food design combines marketing and communication skills with sensitivity and the ability to manage design project methods catering to all the sensory organs.

It involves the use of design methodologies and design approach to create methods, spaces and processes where products are processed, distributed and consumed. They manage the design of equipment and tools used to prepare and consume food. Food design includes the process of design studies and research that generates new products related to food. This discipline is part of the industrial design and is in charge of the creation and design of food, parts of complex food products and in some way related to them. Food Design collaborates with different disciplines such as biology, genetics, anthropology, psychoanalysis, sociology, nutrition, research on sociability and social mediation and the history of culinary systems and forms of conviviality.

 “वह सभी पर अपनी कृपा बढ़ाता है और प्राणियों को अनुभव और मुक्ति देता है” | वह स्थूल, सूक्ष्म और सर्वोच्च है, प्रकट और अव्यक्त दोनों है, वह जाग्रत, स्वप्न और गहरी नींद है। वह परम कल्पना हैं, जिन्होंने अतीत, वर्तमान और भविष्य को रचा है। वे कल्पना के उपकरण और प्रेरणा है। वह परम कल्पना दर्शन और सर्वोच्च कल्पना विचारक है।

भगवान शिव ही सब कुछ हैं और सब कुछ उनसे ही हैं। वह ध्वनि, स्पर्श, रंग, स्वाद और गंध है, ब्रह्मांड में मौजूद सभी प्राणियों के भावना अंग हैं। वह एक बिंदु, रेखा, वृत्त, त्रिकोण और रचना के सभी तत्व हैं। वह आकार, रूप, संतुलन, सद्भाव और रचना के सभी सिद्धांत हैं। शिव “एक” रचनाकार या कोई रचना निर्माता नहीं है जो केवल “रचना” करता है, वह सृजनकर्ता है, क्योंकि “उनके माध्यम से ही सभी चीजों की कल्पना किया गया था, उनके बिना कुछ भी रचना नहीं किया गया था”। उन्होंने उन चीजों को रचना किया जो परम कृति हैं। शिव द्वारा रचना किए गए सभी रचना यह दर्शाता है कि वह कितना उल्लेखनीय है। क्या आपने कभी प्रकृति को महसूस किया । यह परम रचना हमें परम रचनाकार की ओर इशारा करने की कोशिश कर रहा है। तो आइये हम सृष्टि के रचनाकार कहे जाने वाले भगवान शिव को नमन करे।

Shiva and Design “He extends his grace to all and gives creatures experience and liberation” He is the gross, the subtle and the supreme; the manifested, the non-manifested and that which is both; he is wakefulness, dream and deep sleep. He is the ultimate designer, who designed the past, the present and the future. He is the instruments and tools of design. He is the ultimate design philosopher and the supreme design thinker. The Lord Shiva is everything and all that. He is the sound, touch, colour, taste and smell. He is perceived as all the sensory organs of the creatures; universe and beyond. He is master of observation and guru of perception.

He is point, line, circle, triangles and all the elements of design. He is shapes, forms, balance, harmony and all the principles of design yet he is not limited by design .The nature of designs and design thinking is unique and established only in him. Shiva is not “a” designer or someone who simply “designs”, he is ‘The Designer’, because he is the reason for existence of the beauty of the nature. He is the creator of which are ultimate masterpieces making ‘The Lord Shiva’ remarkable the way he is.
